Basic Life Support (BLS) Courses
We proudly offer a variety of CPR course in Lethbridge including CPR level A, C and BLS. The most popular course is basic life support (BLS) which takes approximately 5 hours to complete. OH&S Approved Intermediate / Standard First Aid Training
One of the most popular and comprehensive first aid and CPR courses available is intermediate first aid. This course, also known as standard first aid, is OH&S approved and can be taken as a blended course or full in class course. CPR and AED certification is included in standard / intermediate first aid.
Respiratory Mask Fit Testing
We proudly offer qualitative respiratory mask fit testing, using N95 masks, at all of our training facilities throughout in Lethbridge for 34.99 taxes included. This 15 minute course / test is designed to teach individuals how to properly test and wear a mask as well as test the effectiveness of the mask. Safety Courses
We offer a number of safety courses including transportation of dangerous goods (TDG), workplace hazardous material information system (WHMIS), fall protection and confined space entry. Welcome to St. Mark James Training - Lethbridge First Aid
We are experienced providers that offer a variety of Alberta approved safety courses including first aid, CPR, Mask Fit Testing and Food Safety certification in Lethbridge. We pride ourselves on providing low prices while still maintaining the highest quality programs available. We have friendly customer service representatives that are available any time to help with any of your questions, comments or concerns. Our instructors will not only help you learn but provide an interactive, fun and entertaining course.
Our training centre is centrally located and offers nearby parking and lots of amenities for lunch breaks. Located in downtown Lethbridge our large classroom offers a comfortable learning experiences for all of our courses. Classes are offered multiple times per week on weekdays, week-nights and on weekends. Registration for any of these food and safety courses can be completed on-line, by telephone or email.
We offer courses for individuals that are required to have only CPR certification with no first aid. Private classes and recertification classes are also available for almost all of our classes for almost any sized group.
Blended learning is also available for individuals that want to save some money and save time coming into class by completing half the course online on this website. This is available for almost all of our first aid and CPR classes including Alberta OH&S approved courses.
Lethbridge First Aid Courses
Intermediate / Standard First Aid Courses
This popular CSA and Alberta OH&S approved course is a two day course that requires approximately 14 hours of class time to complete. This course meets Alberta workplace requirements for first aid and is popular among teachers, lifeguards, city workers, fire fighters, police officers, students, industry, oil, gas and petroleum workers. We also offer this course in a blended format for individuals that want to come to class for only one day.
Standard Childcare First Aid Courses
Individuals that work in the childcare or daycare environment may be required to be certified in workplace approved standard childcare first aid. This course includes CPR level “B” and automated external defibrillator training. This is a two-day course that requires approximately 16 hours to complete. Participants that successfully complete this course receive a workplace approved wallet size certificate. This course is also offered in a blended format for individuals that want to complete half the class online and the other in person
Basic / Emergency First Aid Courses
Emergency first aid, also referred to as basic first aid, is an incredibly popular course that meets Alberta OH&S and CSA standards for one day first aid and CPR training. This course is also provided in a blended learning format for individuals that want to save money and take half the course at home. The blended basic first aid course is also cheaper than the in class course. Participants that register for blended learning can immediately start the blended program on this website.
CPR Courses in Lethbridge First Aid
CPR level “A” Course
Learn basic CPR rescue techniques by enrolling in workplace approved CPR level A training in Lethbridge, Alberta. This course, offered in either blended or full in class format, takes approximately 4 hours to complete. Participants will learn when and how to do CPR and use an AED for adult victims only. Certification provided to individuals at the end of the course are valid for 3 years. This course is the quickest way to learn to save a life by doing CPR and knowing how to use an automated external defibrillator.
CPR level “C” Course
This comprehensive CPR and AED course is offered in either blended format or full in class format. In the blended version participants can complete half the course online on this website and the other half in person. The full in class is completed entirely in class and takes about 4 to 5 hours. Participants enrolled in this CPR course will learn how to do CPR for individuals of all ages. Recertifications are also available for this course.
BLS / CPR HCP Course
The most comprehensive stand-alone CPR course is often referred to as basic life support (BLS). This course is designed for individuals that work in the health care environment such as doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and massage therapists. Many fire-fighters, lifeguards and students are also required to take this course. This course takes approximately 6 hours to complete and is available in blended and in class formats.
Recertifications Courses in Lethbridge First Aid
Do you need to renew an expiring award? If it is still valid, you can attend a workplace approved first aid and/or CPR re-certification course in Lethbridge, Alberta. We offer a variety of renewal programs for individuals with current certificates from legitimate providers such as St Mark James, Lifesaving Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation and St. Johns Ambulance.
