A very popular question provided to our customer service representatives is: What CPR Course do I need? With so many options it can be difficult to decide. Here are a few things to consider when asking what CPR course might be the right fit for you?

Do You Work as a Nurse or With Trained Back Up and Advanced Equipment such as bag valve masks?

If you work with trained back up with CPR training and have access to bag valve masks you are likely required to take a basic life support course. This course, also known as CPR HCP, is the most comprehensive CPR course available.

Do you need CPR certification for school such as nursing or medical school?

If you need CPR certification for nursing school or medical school you like need Basic Life Support.

Do you work with adults only?

If you work with just adults you may be required to take CPR level A. Ask your employer to make sure. If you want to just learn CPR for adult and child victims then CPR level A is the course for you.

Do you work in a community centre or with infants and children?

If this is the case you should probably take CPR level C which covers CPR for victims of all ages. This course is the most comprehensive course for lay rescuers.
