Intermediate first aid, also referred to ask standard first aid, is a two day comprehensive course that includes significantly more first aid topics when compared to basic first aid. Basic first aid, also referred to as emergency first aid is a one day course that has fewer first aid topics. However, both courses include CPR and AED training and participants can also receive BLS certification alongside the first aid classes.
