• CPR Level Included: CPR Level B and AED training (mandatory for this course)

Note: CPR Level B is a required component and cannot be substituted or paired with another CPR level.

Participants will gain the knowledge and skills to respond to a wide range of emergencies involving infants and children. Course topics include:

• CPR for non-breathing, unconscious infants and children
• Airway obstruction (choking) — conscious and unconscious
• Anaphylaxis and asthma
• Seizures and diabetic emergencies
• Sudden medical and respiratory emergencies
• Childbirth and shaken baby syndrome
• Head, spinal, and internal injuries
• Bleeding, wounds, fractures, and sprains
• Poisoning and environmental emergencies

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Workplace Approved Emergency Childcare First Aid and CPR Level B certificate, valid for 3 years.
