Participants of the Basic Life Support (BLS) course will learn the following critical skills:
- CPR techniques for adult, child, and infant victims, including the use of advanced equipment like bag-valve masks
- When and how to provide artificial respiration to unconscious victims
- How to assist conscious and unconscious victims with obstructed airways (choking)
- Legal implications of providing CPR and first aid
- How to work effectively with trained assistants during CPR
- When and how to contact emergency medical services (EMS)
- All of the content covered in CPR Level “A” and CPR Level “C” courses
